# Dialing Plan Guidelines

We **strongly recommend** using **E.164 number formatting** for all configurations, unless your system has specific limitations.

Examples:

- **North America:** +14165551234
- **International:** +862913909201111

**SIP Binding Configuration in uControl**

When creating a new SIP Binding in the **uControl** portal, you can select a specific **SIP Model Gateway (MGM)** that supports E.164 formatting:

- **Default SIP MG Model E.164-DM**

**Note: If your PBX has restrictions that prevent the use of E.164 formatting, we also support 10-digit North American number formatting**

✅ **10-digit North American format** (e.g., 4165551234)

                ✅ **11-digit format** (e.g., 14165551234) — *available upon request*

If 11-digit dialing is required, please contact our support team to enable it for your configuration.
