# À quoi sert le numéro pilote sur mon service Liaisons SIP?

Chaque liaison SIP a un numéro dans l’un de nos centres tarifaires qui sert à vous identifier dans les EDC à partir de notre commutateur, y compris la définition de la région d’appels locaux de votre liaison SIP. Il s’agit d’un numéro pilote. Il est utilisé de la même façon qu’une compagnie de téléphone fournit une IDP à votre emplacement; cependant, la différence avec notre liaison SIP est que vous pouvez y ajouter des SDA à partir de n’importe lequel de nos centres tarifaires, où une IDP locale n’est que des SDA dans ce centre tarifaire local défini par son numéro pilote.
